Walk-in Humidor

The most important space inside La Casa del Habano The Hague is the humidor. Our amazing walk-in humidor has large glass walls so you see our cigars from every point of view. In the humidor you will find the impressively large Cuban cigars collection. The Cubans are kept at the best humidity and temperature to guarantee the highest quality. We would be very happy to guide you through our humidor and assist you. We can advice cigars to stock your humidor at home, or you can browse it yourself beyond every shelf.

Cigar lounge

Apart from the finest Habano’s and cigar accessories, the store also sells premium Champagnes, wines and Port. We can show you the Truefitt and Hill shaving products and the world famous handmade G. de Graaff Chocolate. Our beautiful smoking lounge is only available for members. La Casa del Habano The Hague also offers the opportunity to dine in private. When you make a reservation for a private dinner we tailor-make your evening. In this way you can have your dinner and smoke your favourite cigars in the very same place.

 

History
On the 21st of April in 1999, Ilja van Horssen and his wife Yvonne Litz opened a cigar store. We started in the city centre of The Hague the cigar warehouse Cuesta-Rey Cigar Shop. The shop was specialized in selling handmade cigars from Cuba, the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries. In 2005 Cuesta-Rey took a step forward and acquired the oldest and well-known cigar shop of The Hague. The famous G. de Graaff Cigars & Chocolate founded in 1928 in The Hague.

First La Casa del Habano

We started in 2011 the first La Casa del Habano in Holland. La Casa Del Habano  The Hague stands for passion, knowledge and craftsmanship. The store in The Hague stocks an enormous large collection of Habano’s. Aside from the regular vitolas, we stock the latest limited editions, the much sought after collector items. Also the “LCDH editions”, exclusively made for La Casa del Habano are in big quantities available.

The new store is located in The Hague’s city centre (Kneuterdijk N° 5), and offers a wonderful Cuban atmosphere and experience. The ambassador of Cuba performed the opening of the new store on May 29th, 2013.
